Social Responsibility

The Company is giving aid to an English medium school in Ganjam, named “Jayshree Chemicals School” which is affiliated to the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations, New Delhi.

This is one of the best ICSE Schools in Ganjam District and because of its brilliant academic faculty and innovative quality teaching, the results are cent percent in every year. School has classes from KG-1 to XII standards in science stream.

In 2010-11 there were 100% resultas both for standard X and XII . In the X standard examination out of 16 students who appeared thereat 10 students secured Ist Division and in the examination for standard XII all the 11 students who appeared secured Ist Division.

School has 22 teachers and one guest faculty for chemistry class to guide and attend 250 students. It has 3 laboratories for physics, 4 laboratories for chemistry, and biology practical classes.

It also provides vocational class for environmental pollution and its remedial measures.

 

It has a playground where Football, Volleyball, Badminton, Khokho, Kabaddi, Cricket and other sports activities are undertaken regularly.

Cultural and recreation programme are also organized regularly .

 

The Company also undertakes: Water Supply to Ganjam Town, Tree Plantation in colonies, Water Harvesting , Homeopathic Clinic for staff and workers and their regular Medical Check Up by Medical Teams.



Employee Safety and Health

Through constant awareness, training and review of safety processes, safety audit-both internal and external the Company strives to improve and maintain the highest safety standards.

The Company has setup a dispensary inside factory premises to provide quick medical aid for its employees. Yearly health check-up arrangements are also made for employees and their families by the special doctors from Behrampur Medical College.



Human Resources

The Company considers Human Resources as the founding strength of the Organisation. Open participation in management, congenial work environment, proper training of employees has enabled the Company to maintain high levels of morale, motivation and commitment. Training and Development programmes on inter personal relationship & creativity, managerial & supervisory development, organisational effectiveness, orientation programme, leadership, self development strategies and many more are held regularly to improve the efficiency and moral of the employees.


Staff Colony and Recreation
Staff Quarters and various recreation facilities have been set-up by the Company for its employees at plant.


The Company encourages building up of strong relations amongst its employees through social interaction by celebrating various festivals and organising various get-together functions.


Achievements

The Govt. Of Orissa has granted State Safety Award Certificate to the Company for longest Accident Free Period category for the Year 2005.
